According to the Communication and International Affairs Department, with the efforts of researchers at Tirtash Research Complex, out of a total of 8 papers submitted to the Secretariat of the CORESTA 2025 International Congress, 7 papers have been accepted, which is an unprecedented record for this complex, and this indicates the applicability of the research plans and projects presented.
These papers were in the fields of reducing pesticide consumption, mechanized cultivation, and supplying raw materials.
This congress, which is held every year in one of the member countries, examines and evaluates scientific and research achievements in the field of tobacco.
According to the announced schedule for this year's congress, the Agriculture, Genetics, and Phytomedicine Committee of the CORESTA Congress will be held from September 28 to October 2, 2025 (6 to 10 Mehr 1404) in Surabaya, Indonesia, and the Production Technology Committee of this congress will be held from October 19 to 23, 2025 (from 27 Mehr to 1 Aban 1404) in Annecy, France.
